Terms of Service | Outstanding MeMe

What you agree to when using Outstanding MeMe, covering accounts, portrait permissions, AI clips, banned content, credits and plans, refunds, privacy and liability.
Oct 30, 2026

Effective 30 October 2026; last revised 30 October 2026.

1. Introduction

Thank you for using Outstanding MeMe. These Terms of Service (the "Terms") apply to your access to and use of the Outstanding meme maker at outstandingmeme.video (the "Service"). Using the Service means you accept these Terms; if you do not accept them, please do not use the Service.

2. Service Description

The Service currently consists of one tool: a maker that converts one to five portraits into a short office-concert parody clip. You upload a photo for each of the five seats you want to fill (lead vocalist, two backing vocalists, a laughing close-up and a saxophonist), choose a resolution and whether to keep the reference audio, and the Service generates a vertical clip of roughly 14 seconds. The Service does not currently include open-ended text-to-video or standalone image generation, and we will revise these Terms before launching any new tool. Rendering a clip requires a signed-in account with enough credits from a plan or pack.

Outstanding MeMe is an independent project that acts as an interface over third-party infrastructure and AI model providers. Despite referring to the Outstanding meme in its name, the Service is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by NPR, the Tiny Desk Concerts series, Charlie Wilson, the Gap Band, or their representatives or labels. Clips are produced by OpenAI’s GPT Image 2 image model, which creates storyboard stills from your portraits and fixed reference frames, and by ByteDance’s Seedance 2.5 video model, which animates those stills; both are accessed through the API provider Kie. The models available, their names, their capabilities and their suppliers may change, and unless we say otherwise, Outstanding MeMe is not affiliated with or endorsed by those providers.

AI-generated output may be inaccurate, incomplete or unexpected, and it can resemble content generated for other users. Check every clip before relying on it, publishing it or sharing it.

3. Eligibility and Accounts

  • You must be legally able to enter into an agreement like this one. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you confirm you are authorized to bind it to these Terms.
  • Keep your account and billing information accurate and current.
  • You are responsible for keeping your login details safe and for everything done through your account.
  • If you suspect someone else has accessed your account, notify us right away at support@outstandingmeme.video.

4. User Content and Intellectual Property

You keep whatever rights you lawfully hold in the portraits you upload and the clips you generate. You are responsible for making sure your inputs, and the way you use your outputs, are lawful and do not infringe anyone's intellectual property, privacy, publicity or other rights. In particular, you may only upload a photo of a person if it shows you or an adult who has agreed to appear in a clip, and you must never present a generated clip as genuine footage of an artist or any other real person. Please apply a platform's AI-generated label whenever one is available.

So that we can render, store and show your clips, you grant Outstanding MeMe and its service providers a limited, non-exclusive license to host, copy, transmit, process and display your inputs and outputs, only for operating, securing, troubleshooting and supporting the Service. This license does not give us ownership of your lawful content.

Outstanding MeMe or its licensors own the Service, including its software, interface, branding, documentation and original site content. Except where the law allows it or we have agreed in writing, you may not copy, resell, reverse engineer, scrape or commercially exploit the Service.

5. Subscriptions, Credits, Billing, and Cancellation

  • Billing authorization: When you buy a subscription or credits, you authorize the payment provider shown at checkout to charge the displayed price, any applicable taxes and any recurring fees disclosed to you.
  • Automatic renewal: Subscription plans renew for a new period automatically unless you switch renewal off. The billing interval and price are shown before you pay.
  • Cancellation: You can end a plan through the subscription management portal or the cancel option in the pricing or account area. Cancelling stops future renewals and normally takes effect at the end of the period already paid for.
  • Credits: The number of credits a render uses depends on the model and settings you choose. Credits stay with the account that bought them and expire according to the schedule shown on the pricing page or at checkout.
  • Payment processing: Payments are processed by Stripe or by the processor named on the checkout page. That provider handles your full card details, which we never store on our servers.
  • Refunds: Eligibility and the application process are set out in our Refund Policy. Nothing in these Terms restricts mandatory consumer rights.

If you believe you were charged incorrectly, please email support@outstandingmeme.video before opening a payment dispute so we can look into it.

6. Acceptable Use Policy

Consider this section our Acceptable Use Policy. Its rules cover uploads, generated clips and any attempt to get around the Service's safeguards.

You must not upload, generate or assist anyone in creating:

  1. Sexual or NSFW content: pornography, nude or sexually explicit clips, sexually suggestive scenes, sexual services or fetish material. We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse material (CSAM), sexualized depictions of minors and any grooming or exploitation of minors.
  2. Violent or graphic content: graphic injury, gore, torture, glorification of violence, terrorism or violent extremism, instructions for weapons of mass destruction, or anything meant to threaten or enable physical harm.
  3. Hateful or abusive content: anything targeting people for their protected characteristics, whether by attacking, harassing or dehumanizing them or by urging discrimination or violence against them.
  4. Deceptive impersonation or misleading synthetic media: non-consensual intimate imagery, misleading depictions of real people, impersonation, identity fraud, or synthetic media designed to deceive viewers about where a clip came from or whether it is authentic, including making a clip from someone's photo without their consent.
  5. Intellectual-property or privacy violations: material infringing copyright, trademarks, publicity or privacy rights, confidential information or other proprietary or personal rights.
  6. Illegal, fraudulent, or harmful activity: anything unlawful or that enables scams or phishing, spreads malware, promotes regulated misconduct, exploits vulnerable people, or is intended to deceive or cause harm.

You also may not circumvent safety filters, probe or disrupt the platform's security, automate access without permission, collect outputs at scale, resell access without our approval, or use the Service in breach of applicable law or card-network rules.

7. Content Review, Reporting, and Enforcement

Portraits and generated outputs are checked by automated safeguards that combine keyword blocklists, automated safety classifiers and each model provider's own moderation. No automated system catches everything, so flagged or reported content may receive additional review.

To report prohibited content, suspected impersonation, a child-safety concern or an infringement, email support@outstandingmeme.video with the subject Content Report. Include the relevant URL or account details, describe the problem and attach any screenshots or evidence. We aim to acknowledge reports within three business days, and we prioritise cases involving child safety or a credible threat of physical harm.

Depending on the severity, any previous history and the applicable law, we may decline a request, block or remove content, restrict features, suspend or close an account, preserve relevant records, or refer suspected illegal conduct to the competent authorities. Accounts connected to child exploitation, terrorism, credible threats, fraud or non-consensual intimate imagery may be suspended without prior notice. To challenge an enforcement decision, reply to the notice or write to support with the relevant context.

8. Privacy

How we collect, use, retain and share personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy. By using the Service you acknowledge that uploaded portraits and related request data may be passed to hosting, storage, safety and AI model providers where necessary to complete the workflow you selected.

9. Service Availability and Changes

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." Models, features, credit prices, limits and availability can change. We may modify, suspend or discontinue parts of the Service to keep it secure, reliable, compatible with providers or compliant with the law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or any specific outcome from a given portrait or template.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

We make no warranties, express or implied, to the fullest extent the law permits; this covers merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement and the accuracy of AI outputs. No model output constitutes legal, medical, financial or other professional advice.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the extent the law allows, Outstanding MeMe and its affiliates, service providers and staff are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, goodwill or business opportunities, arising from the Service. Rights and liabilities that the law does not allow to be excluded are not affected.

12. Suspension and Termination

You are free to leave the Service whenever you choose. We may restrict, suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe an account poses a risk of fraud, abuse, a security or legal issue, a payment problem or a policy violation. The Privacy Policy explains how we process account closure and data deletion requests.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as the Service, our providers or the law change. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a new date at the top, and where required by law we will provide additional notice of material changes. If you keep using the Service once the new version applies, you accept it.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where the Service operator is established, without overriding any mandatory consumer protections that apply to you. Before starting a formal claim, please contact us and give us the opportunity to resolve the matter informally.
