Editorial Policy | Outstanding MeMe
This policy describes how the Outstanding MeMe team writes and maintains the homepage, the pricing details, the help text and the company pages. Our aim is that every page stands on its own, makes clear where each fact came from, and can be fixed quickly whenever the maker or one of the video models behind it changes.
Checking a feature before writing about it
We only publish a feature description after comparing it with the maker as it works right now: the models offered in the selector, the formats and lengths each supports, and the credit price shown before a render begins. When a behaviour is set by an outside model provider rather than by our code, the page states this directly. Generated video differs from run to run, so the examples we show illustrate the workflow and are not a guarantee of any specific result.
Where model specs and meme history come from
Model specifications, availability and feature names come from the provider's own documentation whenever it is available, and we name or link that documentation if a statement relies on it. Our account of the Outstanding meme and related trends draws on public reporting and on public posts by creators and artists. Sample stills and clips are labelled as samples and never as independent tests.
Measurements and comparisons
A claim about speed, price, quality or one model beating another appears as a measured fact only when we can describe the method behind it: the model and version where known, the portrait or prompt conditions, the settings, the number of samples, the date and the environment. If we cannot show that, the sentence stays descriptive and does not read as a promise.
Updated dates
We change a page's updated date only when its meaning changes. Spelling fixes and layout tweaks leave the date alone. Pages that affect money or rights, which means pricing, refunds, the terms and the privacy policy, are reviewed again every time a plan, an integration, a workflow or a legal requirement changes.
Correcting errors
If you believe a page is wrong, email support@outstandingmeme.video with the page address, the sentence in question and, where possible, a source for the right information. We review every report, correct the errors we confirm, and move the updated date forward when the correction changes what the page means.
How AI is used in our writing
We occasionally use AI tools to outline drafts, summarise provider documentation or smooth out phrasing. Before anything goes live, a team member checks the final text against the working maker and the sources we cite. Text generated by AI is never treated as evidence on its own.
Who answers for what we publish
The Outstanding MeMe team is responsible for every editorial decision. Business goals never override our obligation to explain the product's limits, the third-party services it relies on, its independence from NPR and from every artist, and any claim we were unable to verify. More background on the project is on the About Outstanding MeMe page.
